Last week I did something that some might call crazy. I took author headshots! Why might that seem crazy? I don’t have an agent and no publishing contract. So some might say, why are you taking professional photos, you’re not a published author! And they would be 100% correct. But in my mind, I’m not a published author, YET! I have worked so hard to bring my manuscript to a professional level, written and refined countless query letters, and more than that, I BELIEVE IN MYSELF! Thankfully, my mom raised me to believe I can do and become anything I want. I truly believe that. So right now, i’ll post a few pics on my website and my instagram. I’ll save the edited ones for my agent announcement and the day that I get to announce my book is being published. Remember, if you work hard and believe in yourself, then why not you?!
