What I’m Reading

I love to read! Though I don’t get to read as much as I’d like. When I’m writing, I don’t read so I can give my manuscript my full attention. I just finished Daughters of the Sun and Moon by Lisa Lee. The resiliency of humans continues to amaze me! I learned so much from reading this story and gained a deeper appreciation for the history behind it. I went to my favorite bookstore in Birmingham, Thank You Books, and bought Take What You Can by Naira Coster and Keeper of Lost Children by Sadeqa Johnson. I’m excited to start those. I have to read those before I buy the next book on my TBR, The Ladies Hall by Vanessa Miller. Even though I write historical fiction I read a variety of genres. What are you guys reading? I’m always open to suggestions.
